what day is this haapening?
Can i come?

Of course you can come. And we don't know when yet. Or I could just make a decision.

OK Sunday August 15th.

Now I just have to find a place. We need water, electricity, and enough room for everyone.

I will be bringing my porter cable polisher and drills with 6-inch and 4-inch polishing pads.  Plus some PH nuetral soap and the softest washing pads ever. I will have some clay bar, lubricant,  and various polishes of various abrasiveness, and machine and hand wax. Plus some awesome stuff for doings tires and vinyl and glass cleaning and sealant. It will be a long day so we will see how we do about time for doing interiors. if so I have some product for that. But bring what you want. The focus on what I will be showing is not the products but the methods and tools needed for doing a proper cleaning, polishing, waxing, and correction of the exterior paint.

15th Sounds GREAT!!! you need us to chip in on materials?

I would offer my place as well, but I don't know if we would have enough room/ I live on a cold-da-sack, and it seems all my neighbors own like 10 cars...

Let me talk to my wife, and my neighbors first… I live in Littleton off of C470 & Bowels… don’t know how far away that is for everyone.

Dang man and I really would like to learn how to do this , I use crappy stuff like ICE products and I get good results but I always wanted to be able to do a "fine detail" I don't even know how to use a clay bar , this sucks I am going to be in Iowa with family form the 14th to the 18th .....

Hey guys. I just wanted to let you all know that I am still on board with the detail meet. Matt and I have some logistics to work out, and Matt I owe you a call; probably tomorrow or Saturday. I have had a really bad week at work as I lost a key person on my team and we have had to make up the difference. But I just wanted you all to know that I am still commited to the meet.

So don't make any other plans!

I stopped by my detail product supplier, Adam's Polishes in Boulder, and picked up some detail supplies. Just a quick blurb about Adam's. I was fortunate to have met Adam himself at his warehouse at a Rocky Mountain Sky and Solstice event. The owner personnal showed me how to do a professional detailing on MY OWN CAR. The products are a bit pricier than what I used to buy at the local auto parts stores however; worth every penny. They offer a forums for detailing discussion, how to posts and videos, and the biggest seller, all but one item is made right here in America. Allot of it in Colorado. This is a big deal to me, supporting local small bussiness. Their clay bar is not US made; however the container it come in is  Grin. To set you at ease, I will NOT be pushing Adam's at the meet (OK that is probably a lie, I personnaly love this stuff. Easy to use and smells great. I I push it, it is because I love this stuff.). Use what ever you want. But I will show you how to use what you have. If you want to check out Adam's: www.adamspolishes.com
